Political, tactical ..or what do we call it?

With a couple of days to go to the UK elections, an unprecedented situation is being talked about in very public terms on tonight's news, as well as being discussed between many private individuals.

Some of the poticians are quite publically implicitly advising people to vote tactically ....ie in closely run election seats, rather than voting for the party one supports, to vote for the party which has the most chance of ousting the party one does NOT want.

It all sounds very logical and I found myself having a similar thought process about my own vote.

Yet another part of me pulled back and thought how crazy this all is.

Politicians have increasingly lost so many people's confidences over this last year with the expenses scandal. Many young people think politics is a joke and take little interest. Even the word 'political' can be used to mean simply to do with politics or to imply responding in a way which is not frank, honest, straight forward, or has an unspoken agenda.

Now with an election looming, even the voters are being pulled into being 'political'!!

Isn't this all a bit topsy turvy and strange ?
